Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jawsh Yeh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vova Bogdanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jawsh Yeh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vova Bogdanov's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vova Bogdanov!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogdanov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Yeh with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Yeh misses with an attempted mid kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yeh. Bogdanov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yeh throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Yeh waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bogdanov.

Bogdanov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Yeh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bogdanov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bogdanov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bogdanov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bogdanov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Yeh defends it well.

Bogdanov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Yeh is looking to control Bogdanov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Yeh avoid being mounted?

Bogdanov is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Yeh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bogdanov is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yeh is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bogdanov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bogdanov's back!

Yeh is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bogdanov is defending well though. Yeh let's go of the attempt for now.

Bogdanov has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Bogdanov drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bogdanov seems to have locked his on tight now - Yeh screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bogdanov, as he picks up the win!
