The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vip cracks Helms with an open hand slap.

Vip darts in and clinches Helms up against the cage.
A short uppercut from Vip.
Vip takes a knee to the side of the body.
Vip lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Helms backwards.
Vip lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Helms has Vip pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vip manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Vip scores with a shoulder strike.
Helms is breathing heavily.
A short right from Vip.
Vip digs a right hand underneath Helms's ribcage. Helms let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A right hook to the body lands for Vip.
Vip creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Helms with a big uppercut! Helms tries to clinch up but Vip pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Helms to the mat! Helms covers up and Vip unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
