The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justice throws a head kick that misses.
Justice shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Justice showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Wukong is looking to improve his position.
Wukong moves into full guard.
Wukong looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Justice trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wukong's guard.
Justice won't allow Wukong to sweep him here.
Justice has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Wukong to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Justice is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Wukong pulls down on the head and he's put Justice to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tanaka Wukong!
After winning the bout, Tanaka Wukong thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Damien Justice stepped up to the mic, saying 'Losing is a learning experience. And I just learned I don't like it! Time to hit the gym and come back better prepared.'.
