The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray slips a straight right by Danes.
Danes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Danes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Danes throws out a loose jab but Gray uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gray shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gray was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gray is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Danes is trying to escape and Gray transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Danes is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gray! Very nice indeed!
