The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwell lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Blackwell throws a front kick that sends Lanni stumbling back into the cage.
Blackwell looks to land a combination but Lanni avoids it well.
Lanni takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Blackwell.
Lanni blocks a head kick by Blackwell.
Lanni takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blackwell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lanni moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lanni closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A jab lands there for Blackwell.
Blackwell scores with a push kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lanni on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Blackwell lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Blackwell.
Blackwell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lanni should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Crunch! Blackwell slams his shin into Lanni's torso.
Lanni takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Lanni is rocked!
Blackwell cracks Lanni with a hook to the temple - Lanni is on wobbly legs here! Blackwell swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Lanni falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Blackwell wins by TKO!
