Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Likehell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Yakovitz!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Likehell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Likehell doesn't manage to clinch there - Yakovitz circles away.
Likehell tries to clinch up.
Decent striking displayed by Likehell there.
Likehell misses with a series of wild punches.
Likehell throws a sloppy head kick and Yakovitz moves out of range easily.
Likehell scores with a head kick. Yakovitz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Likehell takes the fight into the clinch.

Yakovitz breaks from the clinch.
Likehell wants to land a leg kick but Yakovitz is out of range.
Juan Likehell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yakovitz circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Likehell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yakovitz as he avoids it easily.
Likehell throws a push kick but Yakovitz slaps the foot to one side.

Likehell gets a clinch.

Likehell jumps guard and drags Yakovitz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Likehell manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Likehell with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Likehell jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Yakovitz manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Yakovitz is trying to improve his position.
Yakovitz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Likehell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Yakovitz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Likehell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yakovitz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Likehell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yakovitz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Likehell is working to tighten his grip on Yakovitz's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Yakovitz has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Likehell is really squeezing tight and eventually Yakovitz passes out! Likehell breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
