Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Puckerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock has chosen Guns and Roses - Reckless Life as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Puckerman cracks Brock with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Puckerman misses with a low kick.
Brock works the jab nicely.
Brock tries to score a power double leg takedown but Puckerman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brock somewhat.
Brock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
No luck for Brock with that takedown attempt.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Brock, right into the meat.
Brock misses with a straight left.
Brock tries to move into range but Puckerman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Puckerman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Brock throws a body punch but Puckerman moves out of range.

Brock shoots in looking for a takedown. Puckerman tries to sprawl out of it but Brock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Puckerman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looks like Puckerman has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Brock throws a leg kick which misses Puckerman's front leg but catches the back leg as Puckerman tries to avoid it.

Eddie Brock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puckerman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Puckerman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Puckerman wants it to stay on the feet.
Brock moves out of range as Puckerman strikes.
Brock takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Puckerman takes a swing at Brock's ribcage but misses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brock.
Brock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Puckerman was well out of range. Poor timing from Brock.

Brock smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Puckerman tries to clinch there but Brock circles away.

Brock uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Puckerman.

Brock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Puckerman circles away quickly and effectively.

Puckerman throws a lazy right hand but Brock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Brock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Puckerman checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Brock fails to land with a series of punches.
Puckerman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brock.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Puckerman is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Puckerman works Brock's body with a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Noah Puckerman will probably get the nod.

Brock takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Puckerman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brock's calf.
Brock misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Puckerman cracks Brock with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

A nice right hand lands inside from Puckerman.
Brock blocking some punches.
Puckerman misses with a hook to the ribs.
Brock jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Puckerman walks away with a smile on his face. Brock gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Brock throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Puckerman is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Brock throws a body kick that misses.
Brock is trying desperately to land a takedown but Puckerman is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Brock.
Puckerman moves into range and connects with a jab.
Brock dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Puckerman drops Brock with a straight right hand, right on the button! Puckerman follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
