The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson walks into a stiff left hand from Marshall.

It looks like Merle Jacobson has been cut.
Marshall looks to clinch

and Jacobson counters by clinching up.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Marshall as Jacobson tries to tie him up.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jacobson.
Jacobson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Marshall has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jacobson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jacobson has Marshall pushed against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Merle Jacobson.
Jacobson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Marshall fails with an attempt to clinch.

Horrible takedown by Marshall or perhaps it was just good defense by Jacobson which made him look bad.

Oooooh!!! Marshall has knocked Jacobson down with a huge combo! Marshall steps away and waves a wobbly Jacobson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Jacobson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marshall misses with a few strikes there.
Oh Jacobson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bobby Marshall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marshall shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Jacobson is on queer street and Marshall is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Bobby Marshall decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
