Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Peerson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Hammer is working for a kimura here but Peerson manages to reverse the position and he's now in Hammer's guard.
Peerson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Peerson throws a right hand that Hammer ducks under and follows up with a left that Hammer also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peerson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Peerson wants it to stay on the feet.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Peerson sprawls well. Peerson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet.

Hammer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Hammer will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fight stays on the outside here - Hammer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hammer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Peerson pinned against the cage. Peerson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Peerson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hammer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Peerson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hammer somewhat.

Peerson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hammer's guard.
