The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Heath looks to throw the jab but Rossi is out of range.

Rossi walks into a stiff left hand from Heath.
Rossi drops his hands momentarily and Heath takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Heath looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Heath digs a right hand into Rossi's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rossi's gas tank.

Oh Rossi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Heath makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Heath creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Heath connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rossi's hands.
Heath stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Heath looks to throw the jab but Rossi is out of range.

Rossi drops his hands momentarily and Heath takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Heath throws a hook to the side of Rossi's head but Rossi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rossi throws a shot from downtown. Heath moves away and avoids it.
Heath is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rossi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Rossi loads up on a big right hand but Heath slips the punch.
Heath looks to throw the jab but Rossi is out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rossi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rossi. Heath does a little dance to reset his feet.
Heath connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Heath slips a straight right by Rossi.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oliver Heath dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Heath catches Rossi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rossi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A telegraphed right hand from Rossi misses the target.
Oliver Heath seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Rossi moves away from the strike by Heath.
Heath displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rossi throws out the jab.
Heath ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rossi moves away.

Heath throws an overhand right that lands on Rossi's shoulder, as Rossi tries to avoid the shot.
Rossi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Heath missing with a left hand there. Rossi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rossi looks to score with a jab to the body but Heath is just out of range.
Rossi lands a slapping body shot.
Heath fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Heath drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rossi right on the button. Rossi goes down! Heath follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Heath gets the win via TKO!
