The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leigertwood is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pop sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

We've been hearing good reports from Leigertwood's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Pop tightens his grip and picks Leigertwood up, before dumping him to the ground. Leigertwood manages to land in guard.
Pop wants to control from the top but Leigertwood keeps moving.

Pop trying to control the position from guard on top but Leigertwood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
