Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ale Jarod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jarod throws a leg kick that misses.
Jarod misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown by Small or perhaps it was just good defense by Jarod which made him look bad.
Small tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jarod sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Small somewhat.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Small knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jarod on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Small accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Small has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jarod is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jarod is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Small knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Small for a finish.

That was a close round but I would say that Brandon Small will probably get the nod.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Brandon Small.

Jarod gets tackled into the cage by Small. Small maintains the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Small - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
