The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Infante scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Gustavo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Infante lands a jab to the head.
Infante looks to score with a jab to the body but Gustavo is just out of range.
Gustavo shoots in looking for a takedown. Infante tries to sprawl out of it but Gustavo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Infante manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gustavo shoots in for a double leg but Infante sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Infante tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gustavo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Infante somewhat.
Infante throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gustavo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Infante wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Infante throws a right and a left that Gustavo avoids nicely.

Gustavo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Infante is trying to defend but Gustavo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gustavo uses his free foot to push down on Infante's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Infante.

The referee warns Infante that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Oh Infante is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gustavo postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Infante badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Gustavo around the waist but Gustavo pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Gustavo is the winner by TKO! Gustavo jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
