The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Johanson did well to prevent Williams getting side control.
Johanson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Williams is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams trying to control the action but Johanson is working from the bottom.
Williams should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Williams is pressing down on Johanson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Johanson is holding on for now.

Williams is looking for a kimura but Johanson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Williams to get the leverage.
