Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Vladimir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinicius Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimir comes to the cage accompanied by Banks - Warm Water (Snakehips Remix). Ramos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Killers - Somebody Told Me. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lord Vladimir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius Ramos!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimir takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ramos takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ramos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vladimir moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vladimir changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Vladimir scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lord Vladimir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vladimir tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ramos swivels and escapes.
A left lands for Ramos.
Vladimir closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ramos circles away.

Ramos has managed to clinch.
Ramos jumps guard but Vladimir stands there with Ramos around his waist. Ramos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Vladimir is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ramos's half guard.
Vladimir seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ramos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We've been hearing good reports from Vladimir's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Vladimir closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ramos quickly recovers to half guard.

Ramos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vladimir just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ramos has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Vladimir seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Ramos can turn it around.

Ramos has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Vladimir regains guard immediately.

Ramos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Vladimir looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Vladimir looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Vladimir!

Vladimir goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ramos has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vladimir but great work by Ramos.
Ramos creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Vladimir sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ramos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

After the fight, Lord Vladimir was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
