Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Emanuel Mcmahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Headstrong- Trapt. Jonathan Jordan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Emanuel Mcmahon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonathan Jordan!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan stalks Mcmahon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mcmahon's face. Mcmahon staggers backwards, shaken.

Jordan gets the takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mcmahon avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jordan.
Mcmahon struggling a bit here.
Jordan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mcmahon is looking to reverse the position.
Sloppy strikes there by Jordan.
Jordan working away.
Jordan wants to stand but Mcmahon has his arm trapped.

Jordan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mcmahon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mcmahon tries to improve position but can't.
Jordan has control of an arm but Mcmahon manages to advance to Jordan's back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mcmahon scores with punches to the body.
Mcmahon scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Jordan tries to roll but Mcmahon sticks to his back.
Mcmahon struggling to land strikes to the head as Jordan covers up.
Mcmahon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

What can Jordan do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Mcmahon punishes Jordan with strikes from the back mount.
Mcmahon is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Jordan. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Mcmahon doesn't have the hooks in and Jordan manages to turn into his guard.
Jordan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcmahon is keeping the position for now.

Jordan wants to control from the top but Mcmahon keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcmahon pulls Jordan in close to prevent any damage.
Mcmahon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jordan controls from within his opponent's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jordan dives in and scores a takedown into Mcmahon's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jonathan Jordan dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Jordan moves into range and clinches up with Mcmahon.

Jordan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jordan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mcmahon is trying to defend but Jordan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Jordan is trying to control. Mcmahon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Mcmahon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jordan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jordan's back!

Mcmahon is trying to stick to Jordan's back but Jordan is turning into Mcmahon. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mcmahon's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jordan.

The fighters are battling for position here. Mcmahon manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Mcmahon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mcmahon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jordan controls the pace.

Jonathan Jordan has got the better of the ground game so far.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jonathan Jordan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mcmahon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jordan.

Jordan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jordan tries to get to his feet but Mcmahon is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Jordan in his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mcmahon looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Emanuel Mcmahon.

Mcmahon rushes Jordan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mcmahon is trying to break the clinch but Jordan has him pressed against the cage.

Jordan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Jordan wants to control but Mcmahon is keeping him busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Mcmahon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jordan napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Mcmahon is taking a breather. Jordan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Mcmahon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Emanuel Mcmahon.
Jordan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Mcmahon tries to keep at a distance but Jordan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jordan pulls guard effortlessly.

Jordan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mcmahon defends well.

Jordan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jordan wants to control from the top but Mcmahon keeps moving.
Mcmahon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jordan is one step ahead there.
Jordan trying to control but Mcmahon is working from the bottom.
Jordan trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mcmahon's guard.
Mcmahon looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Jordan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Jordan wants to pass the guard but Mcmahon is keeping the position.
Jordan trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcmahon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jonathan Jordan.
Mcmahon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jordan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcmahon somewhat.

Jordan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mcmahon!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jordan is looking to take a break and control but Mcmahon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jonathan Jordan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jordan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
