Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frankestein Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the cage accompanied by SURF RIDER!!! by The lively ones!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankestein Mir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe takes one to the chin there.
John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Mir misses its intended target.
Mir throws an overhand right that lands on Doe's shoulder, as Doe tries to avoid the shot.
Mir fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Mir misses with a wild body shot.
Doe stuns Mir with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Doe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Doe throws a nice looking combination but Mir bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Doe misses with a left hand
and Mir counters with a big head kick but Doe shrugs it off.
Mir connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mir.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Doe, as that shot connected.
Mir fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Doe keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mir.
Mir shoots in for a takedown but Doe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mir misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Doe shoots in for a double leg but Mir sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mir tries for a takedown but Doe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mir with a hook.

Mir throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Doe tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mir is in Doe's guard.
Mir won't allow Doe to sweep him here.

Doe isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mir stacks Doe on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mir!

Mir is trying to get an arm triangle but Doe is defending well.
Mir cracks Doe with a big elbow.
Doe is looking for a sweep.
Mir tries to advance to mount but can't.
Doe tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mir tries to move to mount but Doe blocks the move with his legs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doe is looking for a sweep.
We've been hearing good reports from Mir's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Mir misses with the ground and pound.
Doe manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Mir scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Doe trying to get back to full guard but Mir takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Mir pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mir fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
A nice elbow there by Mir.
Mir is landing with some decent strikes but Doe is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Mir postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Doe looks a forlorn figure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Doe sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Mir is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Doe!
Doe can't escape the position.
A big strike lands for Mir! That's really hurt Doe and he's turned his back - Mir keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Mir jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frankestein Mir!
Frankestein Mir decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
John Doe was interviewed post fight and said 'This will become just another moment in a blur of moments from the past. indecipherable from each other. I might not have left an impression. But ill remember your ass and be even better next time. '.
