Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darwin Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture has chosen Seven Nation Army as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Couture throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
An inside leg kick from Couture misses.
Harrison wants to clinch.
Couture misses with a wild body shot.

Couture instigates a clinch.
Harrison throws an elbow but it misses.
Harrison has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Couture after a bit of a struggle.

Couture breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Couture moves into the clinch.
Couture lands a right hand that snaps the head of Harrison backwards.

Couture turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Couture manages to end up in side control.

Couture takes a little break here. Harrison wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Couture is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Couture in side control lands a decent elbow.
Couture lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Harrison down.
You can see the frustration on Harrison's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Couture cracks Harrison with a big right hand but Harrison just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Harrison wants to control but Couture postures up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Couture wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harrison keeps working.

Couture is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harrison is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Couture content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Harrison is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Couture wants to stand but Harrison is controlling his arm.

Harrison takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Harrison tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Couture swivels and escapes.

Couture decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Harrison has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Couture is working away from the top position though.

Harrison throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Couture's waist but Couture gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harrison off to one side.

Well Couture has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
