Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nova Uniao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tate rushes Uniao and presses him up against the cage.

Tate goes for a takedown attempt but Uniao pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nova Uniao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tate takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Uniao fails in his attempt to clinch.
Uniao misses with an uppercut.
Tate goes for a double leg but Uniao avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Uniao continues to drive forward.
Uniao works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Uniao works on Tate's body with a couple of short punches.

Uniao is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tate can't fight it off and eventually Uniao manages to take the fight to the floor. Tate looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Tate is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Uniao is aware though and is defending well.

Uniao swings around for an armbar but Tate sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Uniao's guard.
Uniao wants to sweep here but Tate controlling him for the moment.

Uniao has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tate doesn't defend quickly enough and Uniao has managed to lock this one up! Can Tate escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Uniao on a fantastic submission victory.
