The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster lands with a shot to the body.
Webster tries to close the distance and clinch up but Knuckles swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Webster misses with a series of wild punches.

Webster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Webster tries to sprawl but Knuckles drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Knuckles thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Webster's head.
Knuckles trying to control from half guard but Webster is working away.
Webster makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Webster.
Knuckles lands a couple of elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Knuckles trying to control the position from guard on top but Webster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Knuckles throws a strike but Webster rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Knuckles is looking to work some ground and pound but Webster has wrist control.
Webster is looking to sweep but instead, Knuckles has passed into half guard.
Webster is trying to control but can't.
Knuckles looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Webster with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Webster won't allow Knuckles to pass to mount.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Webster shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Knuckles is trying to defend but Webster finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
