PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sherwood Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Primrose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wayne Primrose was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Primrose tries to clinch up.
Primrose tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Montgomery paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Montgomery jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Primrose walks away with a smile on his face. Montgomery gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Primrose can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Montgomery takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Sherwood Montgomery will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sherwood Montgomery.
