Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Azimuz Parshaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Aldbridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Azimuz Parshaa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Aldbridge!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parshaa shoots in and gets a takedown into Aldbridge's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Parshaa slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Aldbridge trying to keep a closed guard but Parshaa is proving a slippery customer.
Aldbridge looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Aldbridge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parshaa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Parshaa throws a big elbow that misses.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Aldbridge holds on and takes a little breather.
Parshaa throws a big right hand that misses.
Parshaa seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. James Aldbridge was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Aldbridge displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Parshaa.

Parshaa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Parshaa drops back looking for a leg! Aldbridge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aldbridge manages to kick Parshaa off! Parshaa jumps back into Aldbridge's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Parshaa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Parshaa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Parshaa drops back looking for a leg! Aldbridge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aldbridge manages to kick Parshaa off! Parshaa jumps back into Aldbridge's guard.

Aldbridge controls Parshaa momentarily but Parshaa frees himself.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. James Aldbridge wasn't active enough on the ground.
Parshaa shoots in looking for a takedown. Aldbridge tries to sprawl out of it but Parshaa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aldbridge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parshaa darts in looking for a takedown but Aldbridge gets double underhooks and turns Parshaa into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Azimuz Parshaa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parshaa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Aldbridge avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Aldbridge is trying to push Parshaa away but Parshaa has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Aldbridge is trying to break the clinch but Parshaa has him pressed against the cage.

Parshaa gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Aldbridge regains guard.

Parshaa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Parshaa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Parshaa passes Aldbridge's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Parshaa is breathing heavily.

Parshaa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Aldbridge trying to hold on to Parshaa's head to control him but Parshaa postures up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Parshaa seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aldbridge tries to get to full guard but Parshaa has control of the leg.
Parshaa prevents Aldbridge from standing back up.
Aldbridge wants to control but Parshaa is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Parshaa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aldbridge doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parshaa.
Aldbridge is holding on to half guard well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Parshaa prevents Aldbridge from standing back up.
Aldbridge is trying to maintain the position but Parshaa is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Azimuz Parshaa dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Parshaa dives in and grabs Aldbridge's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aldbridge pushes down on Parshaa's head and hops out.
Aldbridge lands a glancing blow to the side of Parshaa's head.
Aldbridge ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Parshaa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aldbridge as he avoids it easily.
Aldbridge fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Parshaa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Parshaa takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Aldbridge cracks Parshaa with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Aldbridge has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Parshaa to stand back up!


Parshaa is rocked!


It looks like Azimuz Parshaa has been cut.
Aldbridge connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Parshaa out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Aldbridge!
