PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Birdman Lugz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dexter might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pink Fong. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dexter shoots for a double leg takedown but Lugz sprawls well. He's pushed Dexter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lugz moves to clinch but Dexter breaks away
and Dexter counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dexter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lugz avoids it really well and circles away.
Dexter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dexter has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lugz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dexter. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lugz thuds his right hand into Dexter's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Dexter drops back looking for a leg! Lugz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lugz manages to kick Dexter off! Dexter jumps back into Lugz's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dexter throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Dexter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dexter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We're going to have a standup here because Dylan Dexter wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Lugz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dylan Dexter will probably get the nod.

Birdman Lugz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
