Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cacio Aristides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Noris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noris has chosen Don Trip- Iverson as his entrance music. Lee Noris has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cacio Aristides's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cacio Aristides!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lee Noris!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Topper Green and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aristides circles away from the clinch attempt.
Noris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Aristides defends it nicely.
Noris has his takedown stuffed

and Aristides counters with a single leg into guard. Noris didn't expect that.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Aristides in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Aristides has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Aristides drops back looking for a leg! Noris is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Noris manages to kick Aristides off! Aristides jumps back into Noris's guard.

Aristides drops back, looking for a kneebar! Noris looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Noris looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Noris!

That's time! Aristides's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Noris gets caught flat footed, as Aristides shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Aristides postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Aristides slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Aristides remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
