Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cung Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Walter Mooney!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Mooney.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.

Lee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mooney's head.

Mooney on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Lee feints and then cracks Mooney's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mooney down.

and Lee counters with a stiff right hand.
Mooney tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Lee tries to bum rush Mooney with a series of wild strikes but Mooney uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lee throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mooney cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mooney tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.

Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mooney throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.

Nice straight punches there by Lee. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lee.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Mooney tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Lee has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Lee lands a really nice looking cross but Mooney seems unphased.

Lee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mooney can pounce on him.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cung Lee.
I think Lee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
