Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony White!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from White. No joy for Maynard on that attempt.

Maynard gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows White to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Anthony White wasn't active enough on the ground.
Maynard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Maynard wants to take the fight to the mat but White manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

White closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Maynard's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

White is just content to waste time from the top position. Maynard takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Maynard gets caught napping as White dives in and scores a takedown. Maynard manages to retain guard.
Maynard avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White cracks Maynard with a solid left hand.

Maynard is looking for a triangle but White pushes his legs off easily.

Maynard is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

White wanted to stand there but Maynard had control of the position.

White stands up from Maynard's guard - White perhaps looking for a knockout.

White forces Maynard back against the cage and clinches.
White lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

White gets a trip takedown into half guard.
White is trying to control the action in half guard but Maynard is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
White scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Anthony White has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

White drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Anthony White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

White postures up and lands a big shot to Maynard's brow.

Maynard takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Maynard is not content to let White control the position.
White is working Maynard over with some ground and pound from side control.

White stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Maynard has his takedown stuffed

and White counters by clinching up.
White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

White has Maynard pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. White pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Maynard tumbling to the mat - White dives into Maynard's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
White passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Maynard is not content to let White control the position.

White scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Maynard to see if he's OK.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Anthony White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
