Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raoul Duke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henry Longbow!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duke looks to clinch
and Longbow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Longbow ducks under a wild hook from Duke.
Longbow scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Duke misses with a left hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Longbow gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Duke's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Duke definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Longbow misses with a hook to the ribs.
Longbow tries to work over Duke's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Duke wants to break the clinch but can't.
Longbow is pushing Duke up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Duke gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Longbow regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duke gets to his feet - Longbow follows without any prompting.
Longbow catches Duke with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Longbow lands a nice looking kick to the body. Duke takes a step back to recover.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Longbow, right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Longbow throws a nice outside leg kick.
Longbow slips a jab from Duke.
Longbow throws a leg kick which misses Duke's front leg but catches the back leg as Duke tries to avoid it.
Duke throws a jab when Longbow was well out of range.
Duke swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Longbow counters with a thumping low kick.
Duke moves forwards but Longbow connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Longbow thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Duke if he has to take too many more of those.
Longbow throws a shot to the body.
Duke is breathing heavily.
Nice uppercut there from Longbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Longbow thows a body kick. Duke tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Longbow chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Longbow throws an overhand right that drops Duke like a sack of potatoes! Longbow dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henry Longbow!
