Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dark Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luigi Vercotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vercotti has chosen Poverty - Ennio Morricone as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Vercotti lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hunter doesn't seem phased though.
Hunter doesn't manage to clinch there - Vercotti circles away.
Vercotti looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunter is fending him off so far but Vercotti persists. Nope, Hunter circles away and we're back to standing.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Vercotti has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
