The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King pulls out of a head kick attempt.

XyD looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
King is looking for a sweep. XyD is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

XyD stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows King to get to his feet.
King tries to clinch up but XyD circles away and keeps his distance.
King throws a head kick that half lands.
XyD tries to clinch but King moves out of range.
King swings and misses with a hook to the body.
King dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dawson King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King throws a solid leg kick but XyD takes the impact on his shin and smiles at King.

XyD shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

XyD lands a couple of digs.
XyD controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by ZyD XyD.
King with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
King throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Dawson King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King lands with a kick to the ribs.
King thows a body shot but no joy.
King looks to land a body kick but XyD moved away.
King pivots, looking for a leg kick but XyD is out of range and King settles back down.
King throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

King throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
XyD tries to land a body kick
and King counters with a nice body kick.

XyD closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. King quickly recovers to half guard.

XyD lands strikes from half guard.
XyD prevents King from improving his position.
XyD is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
King is bucking up trying to escape but XyD cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

King tries to hold on but XyD postures up.

XyD controlling the pace for now.
King looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
XyD slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
King tries to break free.

XyD working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. King is doing well to defend. XyD seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! King is forced to tap and this one is over!
