Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gau Chung!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chung is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Singleton feints and as Chung raises his hands in defense, Singleton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Singleton distracts Chung with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Singleton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Singleton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sergio Singleton has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Chung closes the distance but Singleton moves to the side

and Singleton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Singleton lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Singleton passes into side control, despite Chung's attempt to control the position.

Chung tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Singleton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Singleton has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Chung is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Singleton yanks on the arm and Chung is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Singleton.
