Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Gutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raimo Rento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rento throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gutz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rento takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Rento throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gutz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rento throws a lazy right hand but Gutz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gutz catches Rento with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gutz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Rento wants to get back to full guard.
Gutz looks to land a strike but Rento avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Rento remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Gutz here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

That was a close second round but I would say that Apollo Gutz will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gutz feints and as Rento raises his hands in defense, Gutz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gutz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
