The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jotko misses with a few strikes there.
Whitehead shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jotko defends it nicely.
Jotko lands a left and a right that send Whitehead crashing to the mat, dazed. Jotko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Herschel Whitehead has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jotko stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Whitehead throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jotko's waist but Jotko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Whitehead off to one side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
