Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fred Durst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and paddy mick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). paddy mick told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fred Durst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, paddy mick!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durst closes the distance and clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Durst.
Durst breaks the clinch.
Durst drives through and clinches with mick against the cage.
mick tries for a takedown but Durst manages to get underhooks.
mick with an attempt at a knee that misses.
mick misses with an elbow strike.
Durst lands a shot to the body.
Durst lands an uppercut.
Durst prevents mick from breaking the clinch.
Durst lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Durst scores with a hook to the body.
mick is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Durst is keeping busy.
A left hand lands to the body for Durst.
mick looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Durst cracks mick with a nice body shot.
Durst breaks from the clinch.
Durst fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with mick, pushing him back against the cage.
Durst turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Durst manages to end up in side control.
Durst staying calm.
Durst decides to stand up, so the ref orders mick to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Durst goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like paddy mick has been cut.
Durst forces mick back against the cage and clinches.
Durst breaks from the clinch.
Durst wants to clinch up but mick keeps it at a distance.
Durst gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Durst gets through mick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
mick looking to slow down the pace here.
Durst turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Durst content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
You can see the frustration on mick's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Durst is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt mick will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Durst is staying tight to mick's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
mick tries to bench press Durst off him but Durst keeps the position.
Durst throws a strike aimed at the side of mick's head but mick avoids it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
mick is trying to buck Durst off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Durst dominated that round.
The cut man is working on paddy mick's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Durst moves into range and clinches up with mick.
Durst has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. mick is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Durst escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
mick changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Durst looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
mick working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
mick has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
mick fails to land the takedown.
Durst moves in looking to clinch but mick pushes him off.
Fred Durst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Durst closes the distance and clinches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Durst manages to break the clinch.
Durst throws a right and a left that mick avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
mick swats away the attempt to clinch by Durst.
mick drops his hands momentarily and Durst takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Durst cracks mick with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Durst tries to clinch up.
mick throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
mick misses with a takedown attempt - Durst sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Durst swinging wilding here.
Durst throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Durst misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
mick fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fred Durst has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of paddy mick.
Durst swings for the body but mick moves out of range.
mick shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
mick thowing shots but they're missing.

mick throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Durst knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for mick on the ground.
mick can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Durst is looking to escape.
mick might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Durst kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

mick controlling the pace for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
mick unloads with some shots from mount but Durst bucks and avoids them well.
Durst is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
mick goes for an armbar but Durst turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Durst.
mick wants to stand and escape but Durst is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
paddy mick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on paddy mick's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Durst moves into the clinch.
Nice body punch from Durst - that landed with a thud.
Durst breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
mick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Durst tries to avoid it but mick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Durst to the ground. Durst escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
mick swats away the attempt to clinch by Durst.
Durst is looking to clinch.
mick tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Durst counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Durst.
Durst breaks the clinch.
Durst scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Durst keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Durst lands a straight punch to the body, keeping mick at a distance.
Durst closes the distance and clinches.
Durst breaks from the clinch.
Durst throws a right and a left that mick avoids nicely.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Durst gets a clinch.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Durst goes for a takedown attempt but mick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Durst dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
mick shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
mick tries to clinch but Durst moves out of range.

mick wants to clinch but Durst slips to the side
and Durst counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Durst.
Durst lands a takedown into guard.
Durst stops mick from standing up.
mick looking for a sweep. Not yet mick, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
mick isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Durst stacks mick on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Durst!
mick wants to control but Durst postures up.
Durst will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
mick is looking to reverse the position.
mick manages to work his way to half guard, despite Durst's best efforts.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Durst is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Durst stops mick from getting back to his feet.
mick wants to control but Durst is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
mick wants to improve his position but Durst is controlling well.
And that's the end of the fight!
Fred Durst showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Durst has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
