The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkley throws a nice looking combination but Sampson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Barkley scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Jackson Sampson has been cut.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Barkley and Sampson goes tumbling to the canvas! Barkley follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Sampson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Oh Sampson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Barkley decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Barkley misses with a two punch combination.
Barkley connects with a nice cross there... Sampson is looking wobbly and Barkley recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Sampson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Barkley jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
