Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Alk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Fondels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Fondels will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Fondels throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fondels tries to bum rush Alk with a series of wild strikes but Alk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Alk creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fondels breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Andy Fondels has been cut.
Fondels tries to circle away but Alk has him pinned against the cage.
Alk lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fondels tries to break free but Alk pushes him back against the cage.
Alk lands with a left to the head.
Alk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Fondels has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Alk lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fondels backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ahmed Alk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alk doesn't manage to clinch there - Fondels circles away.
Alk walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fondels throws a hook but Alk avoids it easily.
Alk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Alk takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Oh Alk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fondels lands with a big right hook that stumbles Alk - he's out on his feet here! Fondels follows up with another monster hook that separates Alk from consciousness! Alk falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Fondels stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
