Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dread Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lo Aria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts avoids a kick to the body.
Roberts scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Roberts scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Still in half guard, Roberts seems content to control.
Roberts seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Aria for as long as he can get away with.

Aria closes the distance and clinches up with Roberts, looking for a takedown. Aria pushes Roberts against the cage but Roberts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Aria has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Roberts off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Roberts drops back looking for a leg! Aria is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Aria manages to kick Roberts off! Roberts jumps back into Aria's guard.
Roberts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aria swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Roberts misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Aria breaks the clinch.
Aria lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Aria is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Roberts bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Aria is looking for a sweep.

Roberts tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Roberts has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dread Roberts overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Roberts sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Aria is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close second round but Lo Aria will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Aria takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Aria counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Aria lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roberts has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roberts and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Roberts tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Roberts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aria's waist but Aria gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roberts off to one side.
