Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peppers attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A thudding body kick lands there by Peppers!
Peppers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Cell works Peppers's body with a nice hook.
Peppers checks the leg kick.
Peppers stuffs the takedown attempt from Cell. Cell gets slowly back to his feet.
Cell wants to slow Peppers down by chopping away at his legs.
Cell throws a body punch but Peppers moves out of range.
Peppers moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cell on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Peppers blocks a head kick by Cell.
Cell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Peppers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cell was well out of range. Poor timing from Peppers.

Peppers takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peppers manages to avoid it.
Peppers throws a head kick that misses

so Cell counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Peppers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cell throwing strikes from guard but Peppers blocks nicely.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Peppers holds on and takes a little breather.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Peppers avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Peppers is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cell defends well.
Peppers seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Peppers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Peppers manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Cell - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Peppers throws a punch but it's blocked by Cell.

Cell manages to break the clinch.
Peppers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cell sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Peppers looks to score with a jab to the body but Cell is just out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cell tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Peppers's elbow.
Peppers lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Cell is trying to maintain a safe position but Peppers gets an underhook and turns Cell into the cage.
Cell tries to throw a body punch but Peppers avoids it by throwing Cell back against the cage.

Cell gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Peppers pushes Cell off looking to stand but Cell dives back in and keeps control.
We've been hearing good reports from Cell's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Cell works his way into full mount!
Peppers tries to hold on but Cell postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cell trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Cell lands a big shot there that rocks Peppers but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Cell postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Peppers looks a forlorn figure.
Peppers is squirming around, avoiding Cell's attempts to control the action.

Peppers is bucking up trying to escape but Cell cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cell is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Peppers can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Peppers can't escape the position.
Cell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Cell lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Cell cracks Peppers with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Peppers's face.
Cell landing strikes from the mount and Peppers is in trouble!

Peppers is rocked!
Cell postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Peppers in real trouble here! The ref calls for Peppers to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
