Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Random Task (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichiro Kosugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Random Task had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Random Task!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ichiro Kosugi!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Task connects with a solid leg kick.
Task wants to clinch up but Kosugi keeps it at a distance.
Task with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kosugi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Task can pounce on him.
Kosugi closes the distance and clinches.
Task trying to control the position but instead, Kosugi has worked for underhooks and has pushed Task into the cage.
Task lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kosugi or not.
Task can't find room to land a body shot as Kosugi controls the action.
Task doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Task holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Kosugi tries to pull guard but Task holds him up against the cage and eventually Kosugi drops back down to his feet.
Kosugi goes for a takedown attempt but Task pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kosugi takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kosugi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Task tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kosugi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kosugi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Task sprawls well. Task wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kosugi gets slowly back to his feet.
Random Task has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ichiro Kosugi.

It looks like Ichiro Kosugi has been cut.
Task looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kosugi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kosugi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Task.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Task has Kosugi up against the cage in a clinch.
Task breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Task has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kosugi wants a takedown but no success here.

Kosugi keeps control of Task as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Task misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kosugi blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Kosugi wants the takedown. Task is fighting it off but Kosugi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Task's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Task controls Kosugi momentarily but Kosugi frees himself.
Kosugi is looking to work some ground and pound but Task has wrist control.
Task can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kosugi controls the pace.
Kosugi trying to control the position from guard on top but Task is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Task trying to keep a closed guard but Kosugi is proving a slippery customer.
Task seems keen to control Kosugi's posture.
Random Task has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kosugi throws a head kick that misses
and Task counters with a low kick, right behind Kosugi 's knee.
Task digs a good hook to Kosugi's body.
Kosugi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kosugi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Task sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kosugi somewhat.

Task lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Task fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kosugi, pushing him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Task is looking to control Kosugi's arms but Kosugi gets an underhook and turns him. Now Task has his back to the cage.
Task goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Task throws a head punch that misses.
Task manages to break the clinch.
Task takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kosugi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Task's waist but Task gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kosugi off to one side.
Kosugi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Task finds it's way round the side to connect with Kosugi's head.
Task buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Task with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kosugi tries to clinch up.
Task lands a big head kick that sends Kosugi tumbling to the mat! Task takes a step backwards and waves Kosugi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kosugi is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Task cracks Kosugi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kosugi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Task finish him?

That has opened up Ichiro Kosugi's cut even more.
Kosugi misses with a double jab
and Task counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Random Task!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Random Task waved his t-shirt featuring RED RHINO PSYCHO CLOTHING's logo in front of the cameras.
