Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Dale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hude Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes takes the fight into the clinch.

Dale tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dale has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dale lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Dale thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gomes's head.

Gomes strikes from the bottom but Dale uses the opportunity to move to side control.
You can see the frustration on Gomes's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to William Dale.
Well Gomes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
