Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rankka Ankka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamood Hallak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankka's entrance music is Milk - The Knife Song. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Hallak misses.
Hallak tries a head kick but it misses.

Ankka shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hallak is trying to defend but Ankka finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hallak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ankka thows a huge punch but Hallak dodges it nicely.

Hallak pushes Ankka off looking to stand but Ankka dives back in and keeps control.

Hallak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ankka tries to free his leg and advance position but Hallak is retaining full guard.

Hallak isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ankka stacks Hallak on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ankka!
Ankka has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Ankka is stalling here. Hallak is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ankka seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hallak has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hallak connects with a nice short shot to Ankka's temple.

Ankka is staying active underneath Hallak, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hamood Hallak seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
