The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvector lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Alvector.
Norcom Alvector seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carey fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Alvector checks it well.
Alvector ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Carey moves in looking to clinch but Alvector pushes him off.
Carey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Alvector lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Alvector moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Alvector lands a jab-cross combination.
Alvector closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Alvector lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Carey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Alvector on his heels. He'll look to pass Alvector's guard now, I'm sure.

Carey drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Carey as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Alvector screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Carey! Nice submission victory there!
