Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robin Kluivert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daarstknasset Oystenteller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oystenteller has chosen The Satanic Darkness as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robin Kluivert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daarstknasset Oystenteller!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oystenteller manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kluivert on his heels. He'll look to pass Kluivert's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kluivert controls Oystenteller momentarily but Oystenteller frees himself.
Oystenteller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kluivert.
Kluivert throws a low kick but Oystenteller moves out of range easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

My spies in Elite Fighting Temple inform me that Oystenteller has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kluivert wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oystenteller keeps working.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Robin Kluivert.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Some bone on bone action there as Kluivert checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Kluivert shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oystenteller as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robin Kluivert. That's going to take a lot out of him.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kluivert shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Oystenteller tries to get to full guard but Kluivert has control of the leg.
Oystenteller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Oystenteller.

Kluivert has gone for a leg lock! Oystenteller slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kluivert's guard.
Oystenteller passes Kluivert's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kluivert is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Oystenteller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Oystenteller's back!
Oystenteller is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Kluivert off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Oystenteller is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kluivert gets his way!

Kluivert has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Oystenteller has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
I really don't envy Oystenteller right now.

Kluivert is working for a kimura but Oystenteller is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kluivert is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Oystenteller sees it coming and defends easily.

Kluivert seems to be looking for submissions.

Kluivert is trying to control the action in half guard but Oystenteller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kluivert has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kluivert maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Oystenteller could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kluivert has cracked it and Oystenteller is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kluivert!

A relieved looking Robin Kluivert thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Daarstknasset Oystenteller stepped up to the mic, saying 'This fight is not over until my opponent tests negative for performance-enhancing drugs, and I doubt that his system is clean.'.
