Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen Sabaton- Metal machine as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Dan Smith!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Mirko Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Smith.

Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva is letting Smith control him for a moment.
Smith looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Silva is avoiding damage well.
Silva is pushing Smith's head away, looking to escape. Smith manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Silva wants to try and get back to his feet.
Smith tries to control but Silva wriggling away.
Smith controlling the pace for now.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.

Smith landing strikes, looking to finish!
Smith trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva wants to try and get back to his feet.
Smith postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silva looks a forlorn figure.
Silva is trying to stand up.
Silva takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Smith with a couple of short strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith lands a big elbow.

Smith has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.
Smith content just to control the position here.

Smith swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Dan Smith decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
