The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimson doesn't manage to clinch there - Knight circles away.

Jimson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Knight quickly recovers to half guard.
Knight could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Knight looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jimson is taking a breather. Knight says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tiyapo Jimson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Knight shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jimson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Knight has time to react.

Jimson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Knight on his heels. He'll look to pass Knight's guard now, I'm sure.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tiyapo Jimson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jimson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knight moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jimson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Knight manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

You can see the frustration on Jimson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jimson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ralph Knight will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Knight tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Jimson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Knight escapes and throws Jimson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Well Jimson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
