Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between BJ Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler McCarthy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy shoots in but no luck this time.

McCarthy closes the distance and clinches.
McCarthy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Howard gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Howard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Howard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
