Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pikku Kakkipylly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederick Barbarossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pikku Kakkipylly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Frederick Barbarossa!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakkipylly ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

It looks like Pikku Kakkipylly has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of Kakkipylly 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Frederick Barbarossa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kakkipylly fakes the leg kick and cracks Barbarossa in the body.
Barbarossa throws a nice looking combination but Kakkipylly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Barbarossa tries to land a leg kick but Kakkipylly saw it coming and moves away.

Barbarossa throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
With the fighters up against the cage, Kakkipylly throws an elbow but misses.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kakkipylly just misses with a elbow thrown towards Barbarossa's brow.

Kakkipylly pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Barbarossa tries a body shot but Kakkipylly blocks it.
A body shot lands from Barbarossa.
Kakkipylly throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Barbarossa fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kakkipylly pushes off an throws an elbow but Barbarossa leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kakkipylly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kakkipylly pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Barbarossa connects with a crisp jab.
Barbarossa misses with a looping left.
Kakkipylly with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Barbarossa swings widly with a right hand
and Kakkipylly counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Barbarossa is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Barbarossa throws a series of punches but Kakkipylly avoids them all with ease.
Kakkipylly turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kakkipylly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kakkipylly throws a head kick but Barbarossa moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barbarossa misses with a kick to the body.
Kakkipylly lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kakkipylly looks for the body kick but Barbarossa saw that one coming.
Barbarossa throws a series of punches but Kakkipylly moves out of range.
Barbarossa swats away the attempt to clinch by Kakkipylly.
Barbarossa walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kakkipylly.
Kakkipylly moves away from the strike by Barbarossa.
Kakkipylly takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Barbarossa throws a hook to the side of Kakkipylly's head but Kakkipylly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kakkipylly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barbarossa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kakkipylly was well out of range. Poor timing from Barbarossa.
Barbarossa throws the left hand but Kakkipylly avoids the punch easily.
Barbarossa stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kakkipylly.
Barbarossa misses with a straight left.
Barbarossa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kakkipylly looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kakkipylly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barbarossa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kakkipylly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Barbarossa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barbarossa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kakkipylly checks it well.
Barbarossa misses with a two punch combination.
Kakkipylly tries to clinch up
and Barbarossa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Barbarossa avoids the head kick by Kakkipylly.
Kakkipylly slips under a jab.
Kakkipylly tries to land a front kick but Barbarossa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A head kick misses from Kakkipylly.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kakkipylly takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Barbarossa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Barbarossa drops Kakkipylly with a huge uppercut! Kakkipylly drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Barbarossa is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
