Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xingu Huka Huka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Xingu Huka Huka!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra closes the distance and clinches up with Huka Huka, looking for a takedown. Serra pushes Huka Huka against the cage but Huka Huka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Huka Huka throws a right and a left that Serra avoids nicely.
Serra shoots for a double leg takedown but Huka Huka sprawls well. He's pushed Serra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Serra takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Huka Huka fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Serra shoots in and drives through. Huka Huka sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Serra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Serra.
Serra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Huka Huka's waist but Huka Huka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Serra off to one side.

Serra jumps guard but Huka Huka turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Serra drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Huka Huka gets the underhooks and prevents it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Huka Huka creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Huka Huka can do anything to dispel that myth.

Serra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Huka Huka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Serra has Huka Huka in his guard.
Huka Huka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Huka Huka. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Huka Huka lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Serra backwards.
Huka Huka has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Huka Huka drops Serra with a big knee straight up the middle! Serra is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Serra is rocked!
Huka Huka fakes the body blow, causing Serra to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Serra goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xingu Huka Huka!
Xingu Huka Huka got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
