Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Micah Sellers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yeah Dude!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Dude.

Dude fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sellers, pushing him back against the cage.

Sellers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Yeah Dude seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dude misses with a two punch combination.

Dude forces Sellers back against the cage and clinches.
Dude misses with a knee strike.

Sellers's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dude throws a head kick but Sellers moves out of range.

Sellers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sellers content to control rather than advance.
Dude is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sellers is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Dude should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dude has hold of Sellers's hands but Sellers slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sellers in particular looking to stall.
Sellers thows a huge punch but Dude dodges it nicely.
Sellers content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Micah Sellers.
Dude throws a shot from downtown. Sellers moves away and avoids it.

Dude connects with an inside leg kick.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dude has eaten all the pies!

Dude instigates a clinch.
Dude is trying to push Sellers away but Sellers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Dude looking to throw knees to the head but Sellers is blocking nicely.

Sellers manages to pull guard.
Sellers seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dude wants to control from the top but Sellers keeps moving.
Sellers wants to stand and escape but Dude is having none of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dude working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sellers tries to strike from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Sellers tries to keep at a distance but Dude has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dude misses with an elbow strike.
Dude misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sellers.

Dude is looking to break free of the clinch but Sellers has double underhooks.
Sellers keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dude's efforts to push away.

Sellers has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dude regains guard immediately.
Sellers is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Dude is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sellers is aware though and is defending well.

Sellers passes Dude's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Dude is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dude is not content to let Sellers control the position.
Sellers prevents Dude from improving his position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dude trying to hold on to Sellers's head to control him but Sellers postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sellers is looking for a kimura but Dude is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sellers to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Dude closes the distance and clinches.

Sellers breaks from the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dude enables Sellers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dude manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dude tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dude looking to control.
Sellers throws a big right hand that misses.

Sellers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dude manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sellers has Dude in his guard.
Dude stands and throws Sellers's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Sellers is not content to let Dude control the position.

Dude wants to take a breather but Sellers manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Dude.
Dude won't allow Sellers to sweep him here.

Dude wants to control from the top but Sellers keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Yeah Dude wasn't active enough on the ground.
Dude scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Sellers tries to keep at a distance but Dude has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sellers has Dude pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sellers pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dude tumbling to the mat - Sellers dives into Dude's guard.

Sellers tries to free his leg and advance position but Dude is retaining full guard.
Dude is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dude utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dude controls Sellers momentarily but Sellers frees himself.
Sellers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Dude is looking to stand up but Sellers isn't so interested in that idea.
Dude is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Yeah Dude.
Dude misses with a kick to the body.

Dude has taken the fight to the clinch.

Sellers pulls guard successfully.

Sellers has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Dude has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Sellers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dude moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Sellers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sellers is looking to take a break and control but Dude is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sellers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dude on the ground.
Micah Sellers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dude is trying to control Sellers's posture but Sellers avoids it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Dude fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sellers, pushing him back against the cage.

Dude is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sellers is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dude to the mat. Dude regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Dude working for a triangle but Sellers defends it easily.
Sellers connects with a couple of short punches.
Dude is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sellers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sellers stays in close to Dude's body and controls the position.
Sellers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dude swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Yeah Dude was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Dude blocks a head kick by Sellers.

Dude tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sellers avoids it.
Sellers tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dude misses with an elbow strike.

Sellers has picked Dude up - he's going for a ride! Sellers dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Sellers perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Yeah Dude has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Sellers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dude wants to get back to his feet.
Sellers performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sellers swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dude is now in Sellers's guard. A big mistake from Sellers there, giving up the dominant position!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dude throws a strike but Sellers rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

And that's the end of the fight!
Yeah Dude comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sellers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
