The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries to clinch up but Regan circles away and keeps his distance.

and Regan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Diaz's guard now.
Regan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It looks like Keith Diaz has been cut.

Regan is trying to control. Diaz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Diaz is looking for a sweep. Regan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Regan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Diaz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Regan lands a strong strike to the head of Diaz. That's dazed him! Regan looking to finish here. Diaz is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Regan lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
