The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Christof looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yank Christof seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dikman is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Christof.
Christof looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Christof dives in and grabs Dikman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dikman pushes down on Christof's head and hops out.
Christof is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Dikman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Christof smiles and moves away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dikman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dikman closes the distance and clinches up with Christof, looking for a takedown. Dikman pushes Christof against the cage but Christof circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Christof plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Dikman throws a series of punches but Christof moves out of range.

Christof closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dikman circles away.
Christof shoots for a double leg takedown but Dikman sprawls well. He's pushed Christof's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Diving Dikman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yank Christof.

Christof closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Christof lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Christof has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dikman off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Christof changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dikman tries to avoid it but Christof manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dikman to the ground. Dikman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dikman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dikman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Christof defends well and Dikman ends up having to push Christof into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Dikman manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Well, if Christof is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Christof works his foot free and advances to mount.
Dikman wants to control but Christof is having none of it.

Christof working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Dikman looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Christof! Submission of the night perhaps?
